Question by what’s the point: Do you think Jackie Warner from the Bravo show Workout is a good role model for lesbians?
I love the show but it makes me wonder what people think about lesbians. On the season premire last night, she talked about her girlfriend moving in with her the night of their first date. I couldn’t help but laugh because of the stereotype that already exists around that.
I know a lot of women aren’t happy with the misconception of lesbians that the L Word puts out (specifically shane) and i am curious to know if this is also the case for Jackie Warner.

I think Jackie Warner is good role model for anyone who wants to work hard to achieve their goals – that may mean male or female. Sexuality has nothing to do with it, it’s a drive she has within herself to do well. She lets you take a peek into her life every week, but remember, you are only seeing approx. 40 minutes of HOURS and HOURS of tape, there’s much that goes on that you don’t get to see.

Personally, I don’t care for Jackie Warner. She’s a bit of a spaz for my taste. She also reminds me of someone I know who gets on my last nerve. But at least she’s real. I’d rather see annoying real lesbians being themselves than a ton of hollywood versions of lesbians.
